THREE LITTLE WORDS

THREE LITTLE WORDS

Hope happens in a transformed mind!

If you can understand that you can have a “NEW MIND”….the Bible calls it “the renewing of the mind”.  (Read Romans 12)

It’s time to set your thoughts toward what Jesus Christ has done for all that will put their trust and HOPE IN HIM!  Your mind is powerful!  Romans 7:25 — IT IS WITH THE MIND THAT WE SERVE THE LORD!

It’s time to get your thinking, your mentality, your mind out of bondage!!!!  There is FREEDOM in God’s WORD!  If you can beat this in your mind, you’ve got it beat!  You may be backed up against the wall right now, but if you will get your MIND in the right position, LIFE WILL FLOW!

God has promised us…”I will keep them in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on ME.”  Isaiah 26:3

Consider these three WORDS.

HOPE enables me to:

1.   BREAKTHROUGH

2.  CONQUER

3.  POSSESS

The battle is in the mind.  Jesus Christ has already done the work. He said, “It is finished!”  That meant the plan of REDEMPTION was accomplished!  It didn’t mean that you would be automatically MATURE as a BELIEVER, but it did mean that the PATH to MENTAL FREEDOM was PAID IN FULL!

If you can BREAKTHROUGH in your mind, you will CONQUER and you will POSSESS!

Every moment that God gives you is a gift and YOU have  a responsibility to use your time to BREAKTHROUGH in your MIND in order to CONQUER and POSSESS!

Joshua, Old Testament, exemplified these “three little words”.   He had a “BREAKTHROUGH” mentality that allowed the Children of Israel to “CONQUER” and “POSSESS”.

What is it that you need?  Don’t put new wine in old wine skins!  GET YOUR NEW MIND TODAY!

BREAKTHROUGH, CONQUER, & POSSESS ~ Three little words that I will be THINKING about today!

The Horse of Faith Needs HOPE!

Do you give the HORSE his might?  Do you clothe his neck with a mane?  Job 39:19 ESV

No matter how great and how strong you are, all people still need HOPE!  Those that refer to Hope in terms such as “All you have is just hope”….obviously don’t know the POWER OF HOPE!   The expectations that are on upon our lives are for the good pleasure of our KING JESUS!  Our lives are to live out HIS Story in His Way! Let’s take HIM throughout the  nations and prepare the way for the KING!  Can you have faith for this?  …..NOT WITHOUT HOPE!  Faith is the substance of the things you HOPE FOR….what are you hoping for?

I expect to carry the King’s PRESENCE!

In Biblical times, one of the functions of horses was to carry the KING, parading him through cities on a Royal Carriage.

What kind of Horse will carry the King?

Notes these things.

1.  HORSES WERE TAKEN OUT OF THE WILD.

  • Quit trying to be like everybody else-you are not.

  • Seperate your life in consecration and purity.

  • Like Paul, it is time to be “apprehended”.

  • Step it up and allow the rope to get tighter in training.

2.  THE WILD MUST BE TAKEN OUT OF THE HORSE.

  • You can come out of Egypt, but you’ve got to get Egypt out of you

  • General Joshua circumsised his own soldiers with sharp knives.  Pain is inevitable.

  • When you don’t get your way, if you are the first one to leave the church, you will never carry the King.  The “wild” must be taken out of you.

  • The horse must be broken

  • Horses that are not broken will buck under pressure.

  • Sometimes to break a horse, it is tied to a donkey.  (smile)

3.  THE HORSE MUST BE TRAINED.  (Disciplined)

  • The horse must not be controlled by his natural instincts.

  • Horses, by nature, are panicky.

  • Say this – “My purpose is greater than my instincts.”

  • I will be taught not to respond to that which I would ordinarily respond to.

  • Examples from the horse – I will not drink just because I am thirsty.  I will not turn to the green pastures just because I am hungry.

  • I have a NOBLE TASK. (Carry the KING)

4.  MUST BE HARNESSED TOGETHER

  • Joined together.

  • Moving together.

  • In the same direction.

  • Must let go of your own individuality for the task at hand…(Carry the King)

5.  THEY MUST HAVE COOPERATION

  • Synchronized motion.

  • One agenda.

  • Pull the Chariot of THE KING!

  • Hear the commands and implement.

  • Communication and agreement.

Let’s fill up with HOPE & FAITH and carry the KING!

Jehovah Sneaky – The God Who Surprises!

Have you ever just “needed a surprise” from God? For God just to do something emanating from  His heart of a Father that LOVES to SURPRISE HIS CHILDREN….

Ephesians 3:7 – This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to this Message. It came as a sheer gift to me, a real surprise, God handling all the details. When it came to presenting the Message to people who had no background in God’s way, I was the least qualified of any of the available Christians. God saw to it that I was equipped, but you can be sure that it had nothing to do with my natural abilities.  MSG

Many times in the Old Testament, God brought the element of surprise into the battle to ensure victory!  As a parent, and when my husband was alive on earth and with us, we surprised our son with so many blessings and gifts.

A surprise is an astonishment, a wonder, and an amazement!  God is doing the amazing!  He’s planning surprises right now!  In fact, if you look at the Old Testament redemptive names of God, they reveal His character.  God, our Creator, never stands aloof and afar from His creation!

He came down to help us, rescue us, save us, and make  us one in relationship with Him.  In doing that, He revealed Himself.  In fact, the covenant name of JEHOVAH comes from the verb “TO BE” and includes past, present, and future.  He’s the ONE Who was, Who is, and Who is to come!  In other words, He’s eternal!

He has manifested Himself, He does manifest Himself, and He yet will manifest Himself!  He’s everything you need — even when you need a surprise!

Let’s take a look at some of these Character-Revealing Names of God!  As my young son once said, “Wow, Mom, God’s got some really cool nick-names!”

  • Jehovah Rapha – The Lord our Healer.  Exodus 15:26

  • Jehovah Nissi – The Lord our Banner.  Exodus 17: 8-15

  • Jehovah Shalom – The Lord our Peace.  Judges 6:24

  • Jehovah Ra’ah – The Lord our Shepherd.  Psalm 23:1

  • Jehovah Tsidkenu – The Lord our Righteousness. Jeremiah 23:6

  • Jehovah Jireh – The Lord our Provider.  Genesis 22:14

  • Jehovah Shammah – The Lord is there.  Ezekiel 48:35

And one of my all-time personal ones…..

  • Jehovah Sneaky – The Lord Who SURPRISES!

EXPECT OUR FATHER GOD, JEHOVAH SNEAKY, TO SURPRISE YOU TODAY!

Luke 5: 9 – Peter and everyone with him were completely surprised at all the fish they had caught.

Matthew 8:27 – The men in the boat were amazed and said, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him.”

Isaiah 64:3 – Your fearsome deeds have completely amazed us; even the mountains shake when you come down.

Mark 5:42 – And instantly the girl got up and started walking around–for she was twelve years old. And they were utterly astonished and overcome with amazement.

Isaiah 29:14 – Therefore, behold! I will again do marvelous things with this people, marvelous and astonishing things;

Hmmmm……..Jehovah Sneaky!!!  Let’s Claim That Today!
